Editor Bliss Bowen needed a new website to elevate her professional presence and attract author-clients from a specific genre niche: historical mysteries and fiction. I worked with her preferred palette of teals, maroons, and gold, and used her target genre and her vintage sensibilities to inspire the web design. The result employs dimensions, layers, and textures and takes the visitor on a journey past mysterious alleyways and faded penned letters while presenting the evidence of Bliss' extensive skills. The journey takes place within a frame that reminds us of an elegant, leather-bound, gilded physical book. It's delightful, beautiful, and engaging; professional with a view to adventure, which matches my client.
