Homepage highlights selections from the latest photoshoot and a minimal-footprint player --
a custom-styled bandcamp plugin -- that includes all tracks from the new album.
Jimmer is an independent musician in Los Angeles -- former frontman for the influential post-punk band The Rave-Ups -- who was releasing his first album in 23 years. He needed a web presence that reflected where he was going with his new music. I worked with Pamela Esposito Design on this project.
Pamela and I developed this custom WordPress framework with bands, musicians and producers in mind. It integrates seamlessly with artist-marketing sites such as bandcamp.com, bandsintown.com and bigcartel.com.
Pam designed this site to highlight Jimmer's brand-new release, The Would-Be Plans.
The framework uses extensive custom-code, including an innovative social media grid that uses pure css to create impressive hover effects.
Pam's typography is a cornerstone of the design. I used Adobe's Typekit to allow precise control of the type.

Social media links are treated to stylish hover effects I created with pure css.

Music page includes a large sized player, downloadable press one-sheet, and a shows list created with a bandsintown plug-in.

Photo gallery page rotates through photos within each different group. The photo group is indicated by the thumbnails below the main slider.

Shop page links directly to custom-styled pages on bandcamp.com for digital downloads and bigcartel.com for physical merchandise.
